I offer expert and timely cleaning and restoration services to help reveal the original beauty of your painting. My goal is to determine the most suitable treatment for each artwork, tailored to both its specific needs and the client’s budget.
Jan van Blerk Fine Art & Restoration is located close to Bonn city center in the Musikerviertel. Please feel free to call or email the studio with any inquiries. If you do wish to drop off or pick up a painting please contact the studio ahead of time. In addition parking can be provided to make the trip easier.
How Does It Work?
Initial Assessment
I will examine the painting(s) either in person or via photos you provide. This step is free of charge and comes with no obligation. We’ll assess any damage, determine whether previous restoration has been done, and discuss your goals for treatment—what’s possible and what results you can expect. We’ll also review the timeline and budget.Proposal
I will prepare a detailed treatment proposal and quote (free and without commitment), outlining the recommended approach.Approval & Start of Work
If you approve the proposal, I can begin the restoration. Work can be carried out on-site or in my studio, depending on the situation. The process may take from a few days to several weeks, depending on the complexity of the treatment.Progress Updates & Payment
You’ll receive regular photo and written updates throughout the treatment. An invoice will be sent during this stage.Completion & Delivery
Once the restoration is complete, your painting will be returned to you. You will also receive a full treatment report along with before-and-after photographs.
